I play piano and accordion. At one time, I worked as a pianist and music director at various community, dinner and regional theaters. I was once the regular accordionist for di bostoner klezmer, and I am featured on several tracks of their debut album. I also have dabbled in a cappella arranging. My arrangement of “If I Only Had A Brain” (in swing 5/4, à la Dave Brubeck’s “Take Five”) has been performed regularly by Yale’s redhot and blue since 1995. My arrangement of “Cuando El Rey Nimrod” for Harvard’s Mizmor Shir has been performed by a few groups and recorded by Boston’s Honorable Menschen.
